Mountfern Centre gets great garden makeover
The staff were joined by adults from the centre who helped remove weeds and plant new flowers retuning the garden to how it used to be.
The idea came about after staff from the local supermarket visited the centre and noted the state of the garden.

Hide AdOn getting back to the store Hazel, the store’s charity coordinator started asking local retailers and businesses for their help.
She wishes to thank all those who donated - B&Q in Coleraine for donating a greenhouse; B&M in Coleraine for donating a garden ornament, Castleroe Concrete for donating bird baths and garden ornaments, O’Kanes reclaimation for donating railway sleepers and garden seats, Coleraine Garden Centre for donating hanging baskets and Diamond Sawmills for donating a garden bench.
Hazel told The Times: “ The day was fantastic with everyone working together and the smile in all the faces made the day worthwhile.
However, there is still more to do and with the help of our local community hopefully we will be able to achieve this.
