A Level results: Ballyclare High principal praises pupils for '˜endeavour and commitment'
Ninety-nine per cent of pupils at the Rashee Road school secured pass grades in three or more A Level subjects this year, affording the majority entry into their first choice university course or place of employment.
“This is very pleasing and indeed reflects much personal endeavour and commitment by all, albeit what we have come to expect given our culture of developing potential,” Dr Rainey said. “Of particular note is the percentage of students achieving the top two grades. The tally is similar to last year with almost 35 per cent of pupils again rewarded with A* and A grades against a provincial figure then of approximately 29 per cent.

Dr Rainey added: “May I congratulate all our pupils, parents and staff who have worked so hard to help secure the grades needed for university places and further education and employment. May I also offer my best wishes to our young people as they embark upon new challenges and adventures.”
