Amy Roberts launches new CD
The compere for the evening was the Rev Dr Fred Greenfield who sang a selection of well-known gospel hymns and led the singing of a selection of well-known gospel choruses. Also taking part were gospel group Revelation.
Ex-rector of Christ Church, Lisburn, the Rev Canon S McComb, describes Amy ‘Anita’ Roberts as a devoted wife and mother who for many years thrilled audiences as a talented entertainer in music and song.

Hide Ad“However,” he said, “at the Holy Week Services 1990, in Christ Church, Lisburn, God spoke to Amy in a very positive way and she committed her life to the following of Jesus as her Lord and Saviour.
Since then she has sought to appropriate her God-given talent in witness to her faith and has used her lovely singing voice to tell others of the Saving Love of Calvary, which has so changed and blessed her own life.
“It is Amy’s fervent hope that the Gospel message she brings through testimony and song, dedicated in prayer to the glory of God, may be a source of much spiritual blessing to many.”
