Braid to turn blue for Autism
The Atrium within the Centre is set to turn bright blue once again on Wednesday, April 2, in support of World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD).
Approval was given at last Monday’s Community Planning & Wellbeing Committee of Council to a request from Autism NI to get involved in the ‘Light It Up Blue’ Campaign which recognises the UN designated World Autism Awareness Day.

On WAAD (April 2), Ballymena’s Braid will join such iconic landmarks around the world as the Sydney Opera House, the Pyramids in Egypt and the Empire State Building in lighting up blue in celebration of the special designated day.
