BraveheartsNI get on the ball!
Bravehearts NI is organising a Legends XI charity football fun day, supported by Ballymena United FC, on Saturday, July 30.
The event will give local teams the opportunities to play against former greats of the game from clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Spurs, Rangers and Celtic.

Hide AdIt is the latest fund-raising initiative by BraveheartsNI, which was inspired and developed by 14-year-old Shealyn Caulfield in 2013.
At that time, Shealyn had to be admitted to the adult ward instead of the Children’s Heart Unit and the Adult COngenital Heart Disease Team at the Royal Victoria Hospital had no additional support, prompting Shealyn and her mum Clare to devise Bravehearts NI.
“We are here to offer help and support and get the word around to as many families as possible, offering pastoral, befriending and financial assistance, explains Clare.
“Our Bravehearts are able to shape the help and support they need as teenagers and adults which was never available before, simply due to the fact our CHD children weren’t surviving this long into their adulthood,” added Clare, who is looking for a big response from the latest fund-raising event.
A range of corporate packages are available for the football tournament and details are available by contacting Clare on 07769 616967.
