Businesses join forces for campaign
The ‘Independents’ Day’ initiative is calling on consumers in Banbridge to ensure a proportion of their spending is with independent businesses on 4th July and beyond.
A range of discount offers will be available throughout the day in town centre shops in Banbridge, while there will also be family fun activities.

Lord Mayor, Cllr Darryn Causby, said: “It’s vital that we do all we can to drive home the ‘shop local’ message to help town and city centres enjoy higher footfall, longer consumer dwell time and lower vacancy rates.”
One of the businesses taking part is Donaghy’s, owned by Michael Donaghy,
Michael commented: “We are pleased to note that in recent months new independents have opened in Banbridge town centre increasing our retail and leisure offer which is great news for our customers.”
