Children’s Day marks new start at Raloo Non-Subscribing Church
For Elma,there was a presentation to mark 27 years’ distinguinshed service.
Elma took over as secretary from her late father William, who was in the post for 50 years.

Hide AdAs the minister of Raloo Rev Dr John W Nelson added: “It’s a considerable term of service and we appreciate it very much indeed – and that’s 77 years the role of secretary has been in the Moore family.”
As a token of Raloo’s appreciation, Miss Moore was presented with a gift by her successor Jacqui Seymour.
There were readings from John Mackey, Brennan Wallace and Ryan McDowell, while Brennan Wallace also read a prayer.
The collection was lifted by John Mackey and Curtis McBride.

Hide AdThe Cameron Cup, for the person making the greatest contribution at Sunday School was won this year by Molly Montgomery
The accompanist for the service was Thomasina Hall.
Rev Nelson extended thanks to the readers, collectors and everyone who had contributed to the service.
He also thanked Sunday School superintendent Sharon Haggan.
