The court heard that police attended a two vehicle road traffic accident on the Carrickblacker Road, Portadown. The defendant was travelling too close to a van in front of him and couldn’t stop in time to avoid a collision. The damage to the van came to £5,000. Wozniakiewicz was breathalysed and an evidential test gave a reading of 67.

Mr Richard Monteith, defending, said his client had been drinking the night before and had stopped around midnight.
