When police tried to deal with the matter by way of a fine Curry said: “Nah, take me to f—king court. I’m not paying a fine.”
The case had been adjourned from a previous court to see if the defendant was suitable for community service. It was confirmed he was suitable.
District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, warned Curry that if this kind of behaviour continued he would be looking at something different than community service the next time.
