Concert in aid of soldiers' charity

Musicians from the Royal Irish Regiment will return to the Waterfront Hall next Saturday (May 7) for a fundraising concert in aid of ABF The Soldiers' Charity, which has its Northern Ireland headquarters at Thiepval Barracks in Lisburn.

The concert will also be commemorating the Centenary of the Battle of the Somme, the most bloody battle in the First World War, which claimed the lives of many men from the Lisburn area.

As well as music from the Band, Bugles, Pipes and Drums of the Royal Irish Regiment, there will be a host of special guests on the night to provide plenty of entertainment for the audience, including song, dance and comedy.
