Council goes yellow for cancer appeal
The Council Building joins Stormont in Belfast and other iconic monuments and buildings – including Trafalgar Square, The London Eye, Inverness Castle, Gateshead Millennium Bridge and Portsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower, in profiling this worthy cause.
The aim of the Light the UK Yellow campaign is to highlight the work of the charity to raise money to enable more Marie Curie nurses provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes and charity’s hospices.

Hide AdMayor Councillor Colum Eastwood, whose office was contacted by the Marie Curie organization said Council was delighted to help.
“We are delighted to be able to show our support for the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity by recognizing the invaluable assistance and care they give to people and families living with cancer in the North West.”
