Four Men and a Dog to launch new album in Burnavon, Cookstown
Four Men and a Dog are no strangers to the Burnavon stage with regular appearances at the annual Tunes4Change concerts, and in their own right as a headline act. This renowned Irish traditional band emerged in 1990 during the Belfast Folk Festival.
The band plays Irish traditional music with a mixture of different other genres, including rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass, swing, salsa, polka and even rap. The band having made a name for themselves with their eclectic and vivacious blend of traditional Irish music with a wide spectrum of other genres continue to impress audiences across the world with their originality.

Each musician is recognised as one of the foremost on his instrument anywhere in traditional music. Frontman Gino Lupari on vocals and bodhran is one of Irish music’s great characters, a true performer who engages and draws audiences into the show wherever the band play.
Make no mistake, their influence is worldwide and they command a top slot in Irish music. Four Men & A Dog only play a very selective number of dates each year remaining loyal to the Burnavon, so this is a genuinely rare chance to catch one of Irish music’s greatest live acts.
