Hospice benefits from Musical Society’s Christmas concert
The audience enjoyed the concert immensely with songs from the world of opera and operetta as well as musicals old and new. The crowd joined in with the musical society as they sang some festive songs and carols. Santa also made an appearance, bringing delight to many.
Members presented a number of solos, duets and trios while the wonderful chorus were in fine voice on Friday night. Ron Moore accompanied on drums while Deirdre Austin, Marita Brophy, Kathleen Headley, Maureen Teresi, Heather McCarter and Brian McConville sparkled as they tapped and waltzed during the evening.
