Lagan Valley MLAs pledge support for People’s NHSni
Lagan Valley MLAs Trevor Lunn, Basil McCrea, Brenda Hale and Paul Givan signed a petition last week pledging support for the campaign and asking the Westminster Government to protect the NHS.
“There are widespread concerns about the likely adverse implications of the Trans-Atlantic Trade & Investment Partnership for the National Health Service; that’s why we asked our assembly members to support our campaign aims,” said spokesperson, the Rev Chris Hudson.

Hide AdThey are calling on the Prime Minister to make a clear statement to the European Trade Council that the UK will veto TTIP unless the NHS is fully and clearly exempted from the agreement.
More than 6,000 people have signed a petition supporting this campaign.
