A man may have been assaulted by two drinking companions in the Nelson Drive area after walking home from a pub in Waterloo Street.

Police are appealing for information following the assault that occurred in the Broomhill Avenue area on Thursday, April 7.

At approximately 3.20am, it was reported that a 34 year old man was being assaulted by two other men. It is believed that all three men may have walked together from a bar in the Waterloo Street area.
