New Minister ordained for Cookstown Reformed Presbyterians
The service, which was led by the Moderator Rev John Hawthorne also saw Rev Harry Coulter from Carrickfergus preach a challenging sermon from Ephesians in which he drew some interesting comparisons between the Ephesus church and Cookstown Reformed Presbyterians.
He also took the time to encourage members to look to God in prayer.

The Moderator of Presbytery, Dr David McKay (Belfast) ordained Paul Wright to the ministry and commissioned him to serve as organising pastor of the fledging congregation in Cookstown.
Prof McCollum, presented challenges to both the new minister and Cookstown members. He asked Mr Wright to be faithful in all his duties and the members to be constant in prayer for their new minister.
The ordination was followed by a reception at which Mr Wright spoke of the spiritual influences that had shaped his life, and of his faith and confidence in his Saviour Jesus Christ.
