Packed Limvavady town centre is early festive fillip
And in a bid to maintain the momentum for the retail heart of the area, further events are planned in the coming weeks to draw in shoppers and revellers.
The programme includes street entertainment from 1.00pm – 3.00pm on Saturday, December 10 and 17, while the Naturally North Coast and Glens Artisan Market pays a visit to Drumceatt Square on Friday, December 16 from 11am to 4pm.

Hide AdFurthermore, there are a number of family activities to attend including arts & crafts workshops, films and exhibitions as well as A Winter Wonderland.
On Saturday Santa and Mrs Claus were joined by the Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Alderman Maura Hickey for the celebrations.
Travelling through the town on a carriage pulled by Clydesdale horses, they were greeted by throngs of cheering onlookers before their arrival at Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre.
Once the town was lit up local live band ‘Men in Black’ took to the stage to entertain.

Hide AdSpeaking afterwards, Alderman Hickey said: “I would like to thank everyone who turned out in Limavady on Saturday afternoon for the switching on of the town’s Christmas lights. It was fantastic to see so many excited faces.”
