“We are blessed with a wealth of local musical talent and as well as raising vital funds, these virtual performances will provide a platform for these artists to enjoy entertaining a crowd during what has been an extremely difficult period for their industry.”
Cultural Lounge Saturday Sessions will feature Amanda St John on January 30, Michelle and Matt Baird on February 6 and the series will culminate with a weekend performance on February 12 from the Lowry Quarantine Quartet, with Peter Corry bringing down the curtain on February 13.
The performances will be live streamed on Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council’s Facebook page at 8pm.
