Tourists are king when it comes to Game of Thrones
Moyle’s Tourism Development Officer Kerrie McGonigle, said an interactive ‘app’ is being developed regarding places where filming has taken place like Ballintoy Harbour and Cushendun Cave.
There is also a signage trail to attract tourists and a sign is now planned for Cushendun.

Hide AdMoyle Cllr Cara McShane says Ballintoy Harbour is known as a Game Of Thrones film set and although the harbour area is “iconic”, looking well and is set to attract thousands of people because of it, she claimed the condition of the approach road is “disgraceful”.
She said the road will be “disappearing” because of the growth of hedges and said Roads Service could do more to clean it up.
Cllr McShane added that the footpath down the Harbour Road to Ballintoy Church also needs work carried out.
With the Game of Thrones factor, she added: “There are going to be hundreds, thousands, of people increasingly visiting Ballintoy Harbour.”
