'˜Trying to deal with his drugs problems'
Jamie Wilson, Hillhead Close, Banbridge, admitted possession of herbal cannabis on May 23 and possession of cannabis resin on September 10 this year.
The court heard that on May 23 shortly after midnight a police patrol saw the defendant in Newry Street.

Hide AdWhen police advised him he was going to be searched Wilson produced a small amount of cannabis.
On September 10 shortly after midnight police saw the defendant and again he had a small amount of cannabis.
A solicitor representing Wilson said on the first occasion the defendant couldn’t sleep and got cannabis from a friend and on the second occasion he was in the wrong company.
District Judge Amanda Brady said the defendant had issues with drugs but was attempting to deal with them.
Wilson was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
