Adam wins class trip with food T-shirt
That’s the message from Adam Doherty of Belmont House Special School who’s been named overall winner in the 2013 ‘Boosting Breakfast’ t-shirt slogan competition.
Adam was selected from over 5,300 entries across 212 Primary Schools in Northern Ireland.

Hide AdHe’s won his class an exciting trip to W5 and a cookery demonstration with celebrity chef and broadcaster Paula McIntyre.
Mrs Carol Gallagher of Belmont House Special School, said: “The school is very proud of Adam winning the ‘Boosting Breakfast’ t-shirt slogan competition and we would like to thank safefood and the Public Health Agency for selecting his entry from thousands across Northern Ireland.”
Fiona Gilligan, Safefood’s Director of Marketing & Communications, said: “This year’s competition has been a tremendous success and we would like to congratulate all students for taking part and developing creative and inspiring slogans that reinforce the importance of eating a healthy breakfast.
“Adam’s entry of ‘A healthy breakfast when the sun comes up is starting the day with a big thumbs up!’ is an excellent slogan and deserving overall winner of the competition.
