All square for Fourths
Banbridge Fourths travelled to the Dub Pavilion to take on Queens Mens Seconds in Junior League 3 hoping to find their first win of the season.
Bann were quick out of the blocks and a great pass from Craig Campbell found Roger Martin ‘breaking’ forward, Martin beat his opposition man and shot early with a good finish into the bottom corner after only 42 seconds.

The second half was an even affair with Bann pushing forward looking to take the lead. Bann brought Matthew Graham on and he worked hard creating opportunities on the left and supporting Matthew Clarke through the middle.
Bann went two one up with only five minutes remaining. Jordan Oliver won possession and fed the ball into the centre to Roger Martin who passed to Craig Campbell breaking forward,
Campbell then neatly slipped the ball to Niall Burns in the circle, who controlled the ball and turned and shot low into the corner giving the keeper no chance.
Unfortunately Queens continued to press and won a short corner with only minutes remaining. Much to Bann’s disappointment the corner was dispatched cleanly to level the scores.
