Clann na Banna notes as U12s get back to winning ways

The score of the day involved the ball been quickly moved through the hands of Helen Vaughan, Campbell and Eoin Scullion before being slotted over from distance.
The second half again saw Bann dominating and further scores by Donal Scullion were followed by a two goal salvo from Jamie Strain which looked to have sealed the victory there and then.
Bann were caught napping however and two Rostrevor goals within a minute reduced the arrears. At this stage the result was in the balance but the Bann midfield again regained the upper hand and moved clear with scores from Quigley.

It is to their credit that having lost their previous game, Bann showed great character, commitment and above all, teamwork to carve out a deserved victory that leaves them second in the table and still within touching distance of the leaders.
