Determined Bann ladies give their all against strong Larkfield team
The girls knew the game would be tough and wanted to come out strong from the whistle. Bann showed their determination to keep up with Larkfield with consistent man to man marking and by ensuring they capitalised on any errors made by their opponents.
Bann shooters Emma Cartmill (GS) and Sarah Aiken (GA) were on top form on the night sinking shots from various points in the shooting circle against a resilient Larkfield defence. They were continuously supported by Lynn Wilson (WA) and Emma Boyd (C).

Hide AdA strong defensive effort by Cathy Buchanan in (GD) and Christine Cartmill in (GK) forced the Larkfield attack to pass more frequently around the shooting circle.
Bann made some changes going into the second half bringing Courtney Morris in as (WA) and Rachel Ryan into (GD).
The girls began the half trailing behind Larkfield, however, this did not knock the girls as they continued to pressure every Larkfield pass.
Bann’s defensive unit of Christine Cartmill (GK) and Rachel Ryan (GD) made Larkfield’s shooters work hard to receive the ball from their attacker.
