AMATEUR LEAGUE: UUJ snap up ex-Larne defender Ross Davison
The students’ manager, Billy Youle, said he is delighted to secure a player of Davison’s pedigree adding that he views him as a ‘key player’ as UUJ push for success next term.
The 24-year-old defender has had spells at Glentoran, Dundela and Knockbreda in recent seasons.

Hide AdLast month ex-Glentoran player Philip Simpson became Youle’s first signing of the summer. The Jordanstown club also announced the re-signing of player-coach Dominic Melly and Grant Gardiner in May. Both are ex-Irish League players with Melly having had spells at Crusaders and Bangor, while Gardiner is formerly of Glentoran and Lisburn Distillery. The pair joined when boss Youle took over midway through last season.
