Carniny U-15s produce five-star performance in cup win
The Under 12s also had a pleasing win when they ran out 4-2 winners against Collin Valley.
Both the U11s and 14s lost out to single goals against Hillsborough and Cookstown respectively whilst the Under 13s lost out to Irish league academy side, Cliftonville.

FDC COMMENCES
The latest session of Carniny Youth’s Football Development Centre commenced last Saturday with a new influx of young players.
The latest batch of players from age 5 upwards enjoyed their introduction to football in winter sunshine at Ballymena Showgrounds.

Hide AdThe club would like to congratulate former player Matthew Shevlin on making his International debut last week when he travelled to Iceland playing for Northern Ireland Under 17s.
Matthew rounded off a good footballing week when he returned home, making an appearance for Ballymena United’s first team in their match against Institute on Saturday.

Carniny Youth 4, Collin Valley 2: Carniny went in front after eight minutes when Adger was put through on goal and he made no mistake.
Collin Valley equalized with five minutes to go in the first half but this wasn’t the last of the first half action, within two minutes of the equalizer Adger again this time, shrugging off two defenders and shooting low into the bottom corner.

Hide AdCollin Valley scored within five minutes of the restart before Carniny took the lead with the goal of the day, a neat team goal finished by Adger, who went on to score his and his team’s fourth.

Carniny Youth 1, Cliftonville 4: Carniny started well when they went one goal up. Aidan Graffin played in Benji Magee and he finished well past the advancing keeper.
But Cliftonville went on to score four times in a flattering scoreline.
