Katie kick-starts Town's season with key goals in two big wins
The girls first saw off Dromara Village 3-0 thanks to a Lennon hat-trick and she bagged another two when Town smashed Kilmore Rec 4-1 to climb up to fourth in the South Two league table.

Then two minutes into the second half, Lennon ran on to a ball over the top and slotted home coolly past the keeper. Katie’s hat-trick was completed when she again fought off the surrounding defenders and smashed one home from eight yards out.
BTLFC played some good passing football and, without some stellar defending and keeping from Dromara, the score could have been more.
All 14 players put in a great display and it was also good to see a hat-trick for Katie Lennon, a clean sheet and well-organised defending when needed to go with good free-flowing football.

KILMORE REC 0
TOWN LADIES 3
From the first whistle the Town Ladies were full of running and created a few chances but just could not find the net.
This would not last long as Tiffany Hagen burst down the right wing, cut in and placed her shot into the bottom corner. It took only another five minutes to double the lead with a great strike from Katie Lennon.
Then with two minutes to the half, Jess McKay got her first goal for BTLFC as she finished well on the second time of asking. This left it 3-0 at half time.

BTLFC took their foot off the pedal at this stage as the changes were made and missed various chances to add to the total. Then 10 minutes from time, Kilmore got through and scored a consolation for 4-1.
Another three points on the board for BTLFC as they travelled to Crossgar and put in a professional performance from start to finish. It was also good to see a few different scorers on the night too.
