Mixed results for Coleraine Under-12s on Saturday
Dungannon had the first kick of the ball and moved the ball forward only to be thwarted by the Coleraine’s defence who cleared the ball well.
Coleraine played some great pass and move football but Dungannon held them well and battled hard.

Hide AdBoth teams were fighting for possession which finally fell to Coleraine who pushed the ball forward for Jude Twigg to put it in the back of the net.
Coleraine kicked off the second half working the ball up the wings but were unable to get past the tight Dungannon defence. Dungannon pushed a long ball forward and their striker went past the home defence and tried keeper Jack Rodden who pushed the ball sidewards, a mixup in defence let Dungannon snatch an equaliser.
Coleraine continued to push but they were unable to find another goal before the end. Man of the Match: Charlie O’Neill.
Coleraine Olympic had to reshuffle the pack with a few players missing for their clash with Magherafelt Sky Blues.

Hide AdMagherafelt started the strongest winning the midfield battle and first to every ball.
It was no surprise when Magherafelt went one up.
Coleraine continued to try and get into the game and had a few chances.
The second half started as the first had finished with Magherafelt scoring again to go two up.
Coleraine finally woke up and began passing and creating more chances, but a resolute Magherafelt defence kept them at bay.

Hide AdThe boys never dropped their heads and played some nice football but a wonder strike finished the game for Coleraine.
It was a great attitude from the lads for a reshuffled pack, given the players that were missing for the game.
