Brian closes in on the Sunday Sweep leaders with his third victory
Brian Knox won the Sunday Sweep for the third time this year. He is level with Colin Smylie and one behind John Poots in the race for the title of Sunday Sweep Champion.
1st- Brian Knox (21) Nett 31.5.
SUNDAY 1ST JUNE
Merton McDowell played the nine holes of the Sunday Sweep course in 39 shots, only three over. This is sensational play for a 19 handicapper. There were no twos recorded so a sizeable pot is building up.
1st- Merton McDowell (19) Nett 29.5.
2nd- Eugene Weir (6) Nett 33.5.
MONDAY 2ND JUNE

Hide AdPaul Wylie is a better than average 11 handicapper. This was his third sweep victory this year.
Gerry Blevins went home with a smile on his face. He had the only two on the day and lifted the whole pot.

THURSDAY 5TH JUNE
There was an excellent entry for this Thursday Open Stableford and it resulted in a photo finish. Young Scott Nelson finished the strongest to take the top prize.
It was a rewarding day for Adrian McEvoy from Laurencetown. He took third place in the competition and he shared a large twos pot with Shane Rooney, Merton McDowell and Barry Casey.
