More silverware for Laurelhill as Year 10's win the Belfast League
The team, led by County player, James Singleton, have been together for three years, but this is their first taste of success. There is no substitute for training and hard work and it is thanks to the dedication of the players, who have worked very hard, that they have achieved this goal. The college now joins many familiar names on the old trophy first competed for in 1960.
Besides the great run in the league where they only suffered one defeat, the boys also performed well to reach the cup semi final where they just missed out on a cup final appearance when they had to field an understrength team due to injuries in the squad. All bodes well for next season when they hope to emulate this year's achievement in the league and perhaps go one better in the cup. Well done boys!
