Owls Ladies reach Intermediate Cup final
Mallusk-based Owls Ladies have reached the Intermediate Cup final after they defeated Civil Service II 2-1 at Stormont.
Goals by Gail Nicholson and Leanne Place, along with some great saves from keeper Kathryn McGregor, helped secure their place in the showpiece in this, the 90th year of the club.
The Owls’ player of the match was Gemma Menaul.
Limavady and Mossley will battle it out for the right to face Saintfield Ladies in the second semi-final clash.
