Point prove too tough to beat at the Port as Bann's Junior Cup run is ended
The match was played last Sunday at the neutral venue of Portadown.

Jonathan Shannon then won for Banbridge by two and one.
So two games remained. Warrenpoint needed to win one of them, Banbridge had to win both to go through.
Mark McCoy took his opponent to the 18th but he lost one down.
That was it all over. Jamie Thompson, one down after 17 holes, was called in.

Hide AdTeam captain Hugo Downey was disappointed. His team had given of their best but the conditions and a strong Warrenpoint team proved too difficult to conquer.
