Ulster Fourball team unlucky at Foyle
Out of the five games Danny was hoping to get at least one point. That would give his team a fighting chance in the return leg. Easier said than done!
Billy Clarke and Carson Clegg played very well but they lost by two holes down.

Hide AdMerton McDowell and Jonathan Kerr were narrowly beaten, 2 and 1.
Patsy McCourt and Colm McGreevey were always in with a chance but they too lost by 2 and 1.
Kieran McGreevey and Robert Haire were rather unlucky to lose by 3 and 1.
Finally, Aidan Lavery and Paul Simpson were well beaten, 5 and 3.

Hide AdFour of the games were very tight. The Banbridge men just needed a little bit of luck over the final few holes.
It didn’t happen and it will be a very difficult task to win 5-0 at home. But hope springs eternal and we will all wait to see what happens on Sunday the 2nd of May when the Foyle team come to Banbridge.
