Lisburn gets spooky this Halloween

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council is excited to host this free event, which will have something to offer the whole family, with fun filled activities and entertainment.
Chairman of Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council's Development Committee, Alderman Allan Ewart, said: "Whether you want to get involved or simply watch the kids’ excitement as they explore the different creatures and get their face painted, the day is sure to be full of ghoulish delights for all.”

Hide AdFrom 10am there will be a range of activities available which will include a team of face painters, guaranteed to complete any costume with some spooky designs, with spot prizes for the best costumes!
From 11am to 3pm, Wee Critters will be live in Market Square. From the curiously cute to the creepy and crawly, you’re sure to enjoy taking part in this interactive animal session.
From 12 noon to 2pm, the local walkabout Sanderson Sisters (Hocus Pocus) will be running amok and casting spells, visiting Lisburn all the way from Salem!
From 10am to 3.45pm, children aged 6- 12 can take part in a thrilling Arts & Crafts Workshop facilitated by Anann’s Arch, where they can create a lantern using colours and decoration which reflect them as a person. Tickets for the workshop are free but booking is essential and can be found on Eventbrite.
