It was the case that the ‘Eagle had Landed’ at Craigavon Ski Slope for a special fundraiser for Action Research in 1994.
Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards was one of the star guests at a sponsored ski with groups from all over the province gathered to do their bit for charity.
Around £250 took part and it was hoped the event would raise around £5,000.
Eddie is pictured receiving a cheque for Action Cancer from Conor Magee, Lurgan Travel as young skiers look on.
